A dynamic young company
Founded in 2020 by a group of six industrial and financial professionals with a strong environmental awareness, our company is the product of a shared vision: to create an environmentally responsible alternative to virgin plastic. Thus, Granuplast is the result of our commitment to environmental protection and our dedication to autonomy and innovation.
Our mission
Specializing in the recycling of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) plastics from household and industrial waste, our mission is to transform these waste materials into high-quality granules, directly usable by plastics industry manufacturers. This fully automated process, optimized through triboelectric sorting, ensures an exceptional and environmentally friendly product.
Offering solutions
Located in the Ain department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (France), 30 kilometers north of Lyon; Granuplast believes in the necessity of transitioning towards more sustainable production methods. We are determined to be part of this transformation by that reduce the environmental impact of the plastics industry while delivering high-quality products.
Our partners
Granuplast also involves a partnership with the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Region, ADEME, various federations and professional organizations including FEDEREC, POLYVIA, POLYMERIS, and a strong collaboration with the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), the National Higher School of Mechanics and Aerotechnology (ISAE ENSMA), and the University of Poitiers to study, establish, and develop this innovative plastic recycling production unit.

Strategic presence
Our strategic location in Ain, France places us near the Plastics Vallée, France's leading plastics and composites hub. This provides us direct access to a rich pool of secondary raw materials for recycling and a dynamic market for our regenerated granules.
Our industrial site
Our industrial site covers 16,000 square meters of land, including 7,500 square meters of workshops and storage areas, as well as 400 square meters of offices. With a pre-treatment and washing line, an electrostatic sorting unit, and three granulation lines, we are ready to meet the most demanding requirements of the plastics industry.
